Part of the proceeds will support Riah’s Rainbow and its mission to help children with cancer who endure time spent in the hospital. Riah’s Rainbow provides art supplies and crafts to area hospitals to help distract and comfort the kiddos during treatment.

The funds raised today will also be used to help the Wagner family.  Wyatt Wagner was diagnosed with High-Risk B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on May 14th, 2021.  B cell ALL is a form of blood cancer that starts when leukemia cells crowd out normal blood cells in bone marrow.  Daycare advised Amy and Casey, Wyatt’s parents, that he was sleeping a lot, not the fun loving, active little boy they were used to seeing. The family brought Wyatt to urgent care thinking it was just a really bad ear infection and came out with cancer.  Wyatt spent six days at Children’s Milwaukee Hospital where he had a port put in, bone marrow biopsy, spinal tap and his first round of chemo.  Just recently he had an infection in his small intestine where he had to stay another week in the hospital.  He is finally starting to play with toys, smile and laugh.  They will need to go to Milwaukee once a week for the next 2 months for the next phase of treatment. Wyatt loves space shuttles and Legos.  He also loves to plant gardens.  He wants a raised garden bed so he can plant his carrots and flowers!

Funds raised will help with any travel expenses, like gas cards, restaurants gift certificates and any medical bill not covered by insurance.  Also, a special wish gift for Wyatt!   A special child sized garden bed!
